Rankings were determined using a matrix involving:
Projected Fantasy Rankings in a 5x5 roto

Value to current MLB team
Baseball America Prospects
Mr Resentments personal bias

25. Jordan Walden. LA Angels of Anaheim RP   Probably a surprise for most of you to see the Angels closer make this list but if you look at his numbers you would probably know what's going on in Anacrime. Besides being over a strikeout an inning flamethrower he carried a sub 3 ERA while piling up 32 saves. The Knock on him is he blew too many games. Yes first year closers still learning on the job tend to do that. Developed a change up for this season and should be a dominant late inning guy for a long time.
24. Jemile Weeks. Oakland A's 2B  the speedster had 56 hits in 197 AB's last year, the guy can put it in play. One of the fastest guys in the league you have to think he has a good chance at doubling his SB total from last year. Even if his average drops .20 over the full year a .280 40 SB secondbase man is nice.

23.  Buster Posey. San Fransisco Giants C  A much better player than currently ranked a year ago he would of been in the top 5. You have to question if he can come close to ever feeling 100% healthy again. If Posey can stay in the lineup he  becomes a MVP candidate for the Divison challenging Giants.

22. Dee Gordon. LA Dodgers SS The 67 lb Gordon makes Juan Pierre look like Matt Holliday. He did however show he can get the bat on the ball. a .304 average a long with 24 SB in only 56 games projects nicely. Improvements needed: power. a robust .362 slugging %. defense. 10 errors and about a 100 mental errors.
21.  Madison Bumgarner. San Fransisco P.  A fantasy baseball stud at the age of 22. He is on the verge of being a K/inning guy, good for over 200 innings and that racks up the K's. Finishing just outside the top 20 pitchers  last year, stats wise shows he deserves to be on here.
20.  Pablo Sandoval. San Fransisco 3B  right at the age limit. Panda certainly could be ranked higher but with his slothfulness you still have to question. over 20 HR and a .315 hitter makes Pablo the Giants best threat at that plate. A top 5 fantasy option at 3B
19.  Craig Kimbrel. Atlanta Braves RP. is still only 23. Will be drafted way to early in your fantasy leagues. Certainly no slight to him. Kimbrel blew everyone's door last year stacking 46 Saves. This guy loves striking guys out. For his career he has 167 K's in 97.2 innings.
18. Elvis Andrus. Texas Rangers  SS. a veteran now at the age of 23. One of the hardest guys in the league to strikeout makes him valuable member to the powerhouse Rangers lineup. 40 SB capability a long with a solid .280 average makes this Shortstop something special.
17.  Jason Heyward. Atlanta Braves OF what a difference a year makes? He went from being God's gift to battling to stay healthy and in the lineup most last season, with unexceptable numbers. Injuries are still a concern going into this season as well ewww gaww. Regardless, 32 HR before the age of 22 is pretty good. A must have breakout year? No. However this season is key to people's perception of the 5 tool stud for years to come, owners will not forgive him for seasons to come if he tanks again.
16. Jay Bruce. Cincinnati Reds OF FANTAST ALERT: Jay shed 10 lbs this offseaon. Use that in your fantay rankings people. Over 30 HR last year you can expect him to be pushing 35 Bombs and 110 rbi's. if you don't expect a high average out of Bruce you will love him.
15. Freedie Freeman. Atlanta Braves 1B Now that Prince and Pujols are gone the NL is looking awfully thin at 1B. Orange County grown Freeman could be the next Mark Grace. Hey and that isn't exactly a slight, Grace had the most extra base hits in the '90's.  Concerns: He strikesout a lot for a guy with a .282 average. 21 HR at the age of 22 looks cool.
14. Jesus Montero. Seattle Mariners C Yankees top price gets shipped out where now it looks like he might play everyday. He had 20 hits in 70 ABs last year hitting .328. Lets face it Safeco is no Yankee Stadium so that hurts him. He has never been considered a good catcher many predict a DH sooner then later. As for now he is a potential elite bat at a weak offensive position.
By LM Otero, AP13. Yu Darvish. Texas Rangers P The Japanese import has finally arrived. Darvish a Professional since age 18, makes the move to the Bigs at the age of 25. A 93-38 record with a 1.99 ERA in Japan Yu uses 5 pitches all of which can be nasty.
12. Matt Moore. TB Rays lhP burst on the scene last year in the playoffs. More innings thrown in the playoffs then in the regular season. Moore was consistantly throwing 97 mph from the leftside. Used mainly in 1 inning stints last year and should change this season. He does pitch the AL East so don't expect Kershaw numbers just yet.
11. Mike Trout. LA Angels OF is this guy ever going to make it to The Show? He is already 20 time is a ticking. With a crowded Angels OF he could start the season in AAA. The 5 Tool youngster has been compared to Mickey Mantle by scouts and was ranked right with Bryce Harper as the no.1  prospect in minor league baseball

Who will be no.1 Stanton, Harper, Upton or someone you have never heard of?
TOP 10 COMING SOON...
