LEBRON IS SO COMMERCIAL

NEW LEBRON JAMES COMMERCIAL
NIKE SLOBS HIM HARD
RINGS DON'T COME EASY
What I got out of that story was that it took Lebron really a long time to win one. just sayin.

Lebron ended the great debate of who the NBA's best player is last night. The real question now is Lebron James a top 10 player in the history of the game? I think we need to see multiple rings before we say that. Let's see if he can catch Duncan before we start putting him in Magic, Kobe or MJ status.  Yes Kobe. If Michael can acknowledge Kobe is the closest player to himself then you haters can as well.

If you look at the last 30 years of NBA basketball you see a pattern. The team with the best player in the league is usually going to be a favorite for a title. If you don't have either the best player in the NBA you better have at least the second best possibly third best in rare occasions. No other team sport compares to the importance of this. Other than last year with Dirk and Dallas and the every Detroit Pistons Championship team, all other rings have been won by the team with a top 3 player on it.

The Lakers, Spurs, Bulls, Celtics, Rockets and Heat have dominated the NBA's Championships of a 30 year old persons life.
Lakers thru 3 dominate runs had- Kobe,Shaq,Kareem,Magic.
Celtics through 2 different runs - Bird, Big 3
Bulls- Jordan
Rockets- Hakeem
Heat thru 2 different runs- Wade, Lebron

In baseball teams that had Barry Bonds were certainly not guaranteed deep playoff runs. Hockey teams with Wayne Gretzsky weren't guaranteed a Conference Final every year. But in basketball when you have Lebron it does means deep playoff runs every single year. James has 5 more years in his peak prime that is at least 5 more great chances at cashing in.  I say he ends up with 4 when its all said and done.

KOBE GOING AFTER MJ

THE QUEST FOR NUMBER 6.
THE MAMBA CHASING HIS AIRNESS.

GAME 3 FRIDAY NIGHT 7:30 pm in Denver.
LAKERS are up 2-0.

The greatness that is Kobe Bryant. Current Playoff run stats to date 34.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 3.0 APG  If he continues this trend the Lakers could be on a collision course with the Miami Heat in the finals. Isn't that what everyone wants  KOBE Vs. LEBRON anyway?  The two best players since Jordan. Can Kobe get one more to tie Jordan with 6? Can Lebron get his first one? The matchup would be a ratings dream come true for Commisioner David Stern.

Kobe looks to be fully recovered from both the knee and shin injuries and seems to have benefited from missing the final stretch of the regular season. We all know Kobe is going to get his 30 points but recently he is back defending the ball like he is 25 again, blocking shots and D'ing up other teams wing scorers. He already came out and guaranteed the Lakers would win the title this year something he normally shies away from. The Lakers Big 3 match up well against the Heat, the problem will be can the Lakers get past Oklahoma City and San Antonio. When it comes to basketball my money is always on the team with the best player therefore my money is on THE LAKERS to make it out of the Western Conference.

LEBRON NEEDS HELP

LEBRON PREFERS COMPANY OF MEN:
REGGIE MILLER BLASTS JAMES

Future Hall of Famer and current TNT commentator Reggie Miller blasts Lebron James during Tuesdays game against the Knicks. Reggie questioned Lebron as to why he reached out to Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas and Hakeem Olajuwon during last summers break. "This is one of the most physically gifted guys in our league," Miller said on TNT. "He left Cleveland, and he had every right to join one of the top five players in the league in Dwyane Wade along with Chris Bosh.

Now he's reaching out to Hall of Famers to see what it takes to win? Enough is enough. Go out and actually do it on your own. What do you need more help for?"

Asked if he's "good" with Miller -- who will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in September -- James said, "I'm good with my family and teammates. That's all that matters to me."

The All NBA Most Hated

FIRST TEAM NBA MOST-HATED
5 MOST DISLIKED NBA PLAYERS

BLAKE GRIFFIN.
Is it because players don't like getting posterized when he dunks on them? Is it the fact he went Hollywood? Commercially and on the court. Vlade Divac would be happy with Blakes flops. Most players would say he complains on the court to much. He has no jumper, not great defensively and can't shoot freethrows yet ESPN would have you think he is a top 5 player. Known as an "actor."

LEBRON JAMES.
The self appointed "King" is currently 0 for 8 on the chase for a championship (2 times Finals Loser.) I sort of remember that after school special about Lebron's Free Agency Decision, I believe he took some heat for the way he went about that. Once in Miami he proclaimed he was going to win how many trophies? Is there an older looking 27 year old?

DWIGHT HOWARD.
Generally liked up until this season. We learned a lot Dwight much worse than him stealing Shaq's nickname. He held his franchise hostage for the whole season all to stay with the Magic next season making the fans happy but What do the Magic get out of it? They get to go through the same stress of trying to sign Howard again next year. Egomaniac. Just when things started going bad for Howard we learn had been trying to get his coach fired for sometime now. Nothing worse than trying to get someone fired.

KOBE BRYANT.
many reasons people hate "the closest thing to Jordan" according to Michael. Is it because he is indeed the closest thing to MJ anyone has seen? Is it his 5 Rings? Is it that he is going to end up playing his whole career in LA? Is it the fact he is a ball hog? Maybe its the arrogant look he gives to the crowd after he drains a jumper? Or is it that silly rape charge? The case was dropped gosh.

KEVIN GARNETT.
Widely known as thee most hated player in the league. Garnett gets under players skin for a couple reasons. First and for most he is one of the most viscious trash talkers in NBA history,Constantly jawing all game. Is there a dirtier player in the league? Elbows thrown around, constant pushing and the occasional foot under the jump shooter are all moves designed to hurt players. The chest pounds and angry scowls after every block and dunk rival Blake Griffin.
